Montessori Kindergarten Math Education - Here's why it works so well

After 15 years as a math teacher and parents of five children, I saw something really new (for me) in mathematics education in the past year that really impressed me.

My (then four years) son attends a Montessori pre-school class and learned math concepts in a way that I never had the room with me, nor any of my three older children have learned.
