There is another important issue that parents interested in teaching their children to other grounds - and this is no doubt about the benefits or the appropriateness of early learning programs. There aremany critics out there, many of them to make some points valid. Some have written books on the subject, others may be members of your family. A very personal decision
One thing is having someone tell you that teaching children is great. But you really need to get an opinion for themselves. You have all the facts and arguments for and against knowledge, in order to achieve a reasonedConclusion.
There is so much information out there, and how working parents do not always have time to read all this. This article summarizes the main arguments against early learning and links to full articles if you want to learn more.
But what are the arguments against early learning? They fall into three main groups:
"What you can try to teach not be taught"
The baby or small child you teach is too young to knowTopic you want to learn, because their brain is not sufficiently developed to deal with it.
"It will damage your child teach you"
You should let children be children - and not interfere with the "natural rhythm of development - otherwise you will only do harm.
"You can go ahead and teach, but ultimately useless"
Of course, the child in your teaching now want to learn something, but a few years after the line, there is nothing to showit.
Here is a summary of our response to the three main arguments against early learning:
"What you can try to teach not be taught"
We are told that you can not do, but there are many kids out there already do - be it reading, solving mathematical equations or play a musical instrument like a pro.
"It will damage your child teach you"
It's all about balance. Critics suggest that the teachingIt is coercion that occupies most of a child's time. In fact, all the experts stress the importance of education and entertainment free of pressure, as babies and young children naturally love to learn.
Critics consider it necessary, a child or reading to be able to learn math because they think that such classes may disgust at the school. However, we believe that waiting too long to start teaching is what causes the problem. As children grow, are more difficult to learn a new skill - and boring. With their growing independence, there is more to a child's school is a busy busy boy.
While there may be a struggle to get math five or six years, or focus on reading, you may be surprised to see how the child is excited in his lectures. For a person who is dependent on others for every little thing that stimulation to be introducedWords and numbers can not be beat. Babies have even legs, pants and screams of joy in response to their learning experience.
So while teaching in school can be painful story, learning in infancy is effortless. And be different than at school, where they learned things within a certain period of time - like it or not - a child's education go only if the child is in a receptive mood.
"You can go ahead and teach, but ultimately useless"
InIndeed, long-term studies have shown that early readers maintain their advantage until the primary school. What children have learned to take math equations calculators that most adults will not succeed, without a task.
